All ceremonies are held in the Senior Pastor’s
Chamber, and are provided for infants/toddlers age 0-3
years of age. Family members and guests may attend (limit
10 guests). Baby Dedication Ceremonies usually takes
place on Sundays at 9:30. For more information or if

This ministry serves the Center of Praise
church family during their hour of bereavement. We serve
by showing Godly love and concern to each other during
this trying time. We have a heart-felt need to provide
an array of services to the family. These services range
from sending cards, flowers, telegrams, and arranging
Memorial services.

to be water baptized. Baptismal services are scheduled
at various times during the year.
Our beautiful 900 seat worship Cathedral
is available to host one’s special day in a sacred
and warm ambience. The Cathedral maintains the modern
technological support of state-of-the-art equipment
and yet also host a classic 1200 pipe organ (third oldest
in Sacramento). If you desire to have a wedding ceremony
performed at the Center of Praise Ministries, we ask
that you first receive premarital counseling provided
by a referred professional counselor. Upon completion
of this requirement class, preparation for your wedding
ceremony, rehearsals, facility usage, etc. will be discussed
with our wedding coordinator and an associate pastoral
team member. Renewal of Vows ceremonies are also performed

The Lord’s Supper is served monthly
at our Healing & Praise Celebration every first
Sunday evening at 5:00pm. Everyone is welcome to participate
in this sacred event.

We believe that children should have fun, laugh
and learn at the same time. Therefore, we provide biblically-based
training, activities and fellowship for elementary school
age children, validating the importance of children
within our church family. We minister to the spiritual
needs of children through a comprehensive children's
program offered at our Sunday morning Celebrations.
We coordinate theme events during the year designed
to perpetuate Christian values and beliefs, as well
as celebrate, support, and reinforce the spiritual and
physical well being of all our children.

The First Embrace team seek to fulfill the mission of
COP by presenting a warm welcome to all events. We serve

The Men’s Support Group is developing
victorious Christian living utilizing spiritual and
natural resources to serve the men of our church family
by providing edification and encouragement as leaders
within their home, church and community. The heart of
the Men’s Network is to introduce men to Jesus
Christ, develop Christlike men through an enriching
relationship with Christ and other men, and equipping
them to become Spirit-filled Serving/Leaders who are
faithfully accountable to Jesus Christ, family, church
and the community. It is with this heart of Christ that
the Men’s Network would like to influence men

The Dance Network Team seeks to develop victorious
Christian living through studying the Word of God, and
utilizing the gifts of the team members by training
them to minister through the fluid movement of dance,
as well as serving and providing outreach activities
and educational workshops to other churches and the

The Senior Network Team fellowships are held during
in-home gatherings on the second Saturday of each month
at 2:00pm. This network enjoys studying the Word of
God and celebrating the purpose that God has for seniors.
This vibrant group of senior saints enjoys luncheons,
dinners and shopping trips. The seniors also stand as
an example for our church family, ensuring that a Godly
conduct is perpetrated throughout the congregation while
serving other "Church Team Ministries" in
a loving capacity as requested.

The Singles network provides support, fellowship,
love and commitment to single adults within the COP
church family and the community. The name of the network
denotes Singles reaching out and serving others. Together,

and purposefully nurturing and supporting one another.
Fellowship times are usually scheduled

The Youth Network Team is geared toward meeting
the needs of each and every youth that participates
in this ministry. This network serves junior high and
senior high school age youth (ages 13-18). Our young
people are encouraged to have a PERSONAL relationship
with the Lord Jesus Christ. We desire to see our youth
excited about sharing their love for God with others,
and what He has done and is doing in their life. As
the youth begin to transcend their environment and to
think "out of the box", they will become leaders
and role models in Christ by sharing the Word of God.
We also aspire to improve communication, education and
entrepreneurial skills.

as the physical needs of today's young people:

Marriage Enrichment ministry is to share biblical and
practical principles as they relate to the roles and
responsibilities of husband and wives. It is not just
for young marriages, but for each couple that is committed
to the success of their marriage and the marriages of
others. The Marriage Enrichment Advisory Team is dedicated
to the development, enrichment and prosperity of marriages
by providing Godly instruction, good fellowship and
confidential counseling.
